Century Benefits Group provides customized asset accumulation programs for individuals and institutions. Investment portfolios are developed to match clients's risk & return requirements which are determined by the client's completion of a risk tolerance questionnaire, with the guidance of Century Benefits Group. Each type of asset accumulation program is managed to achieve both short and long term objectives. Century Benefits Group offers a distinctive approach to providing financial solutions for individuals and institutional clients by combining the talents of investment professionals, attorneys, certified public accountants, and external money managers. As a financial organization, we develop tailored portfolios; and act as a resource in the asset accumulation process. The end result is a commitment to personalized service and assisting our clients in making informed financial decisions. Client Education Education is very important to us. Century Benefits Group is dedicated to educating each client about the different investment portfolio types and how they relate to market volatility, time horizons, and investment returns. It is our goal to ensure that the client understands with our investment philosophy. Furthermore, we assist each client in selecting a risk tolerance level with which they are comfortable. Ultimately, an investment portfolio is designed to meet the client’s objectives. Educational Services Century Benefits Group provides a number of different financial education workshops to employees of companies and organizations. These workshops vary in length and content. Most can be tailored to the group being addressed. Century Benefits Group does not provide specific investment advise to individuals as part of this program. The workshops available are as follows: Basic Investing This workshop provides an historical overview of the investment markets, completion of a risk tolerance questionnaire by each individual and instruction as to how each individual can build an investment portfolio that meets their financial goals. Retirement Planning This workshop is designed to ensure the financial security of those individuals who desire to plan for retirement. The workshop addresses the client’s need to accumulate funds for retirement, the tax laws associated with saving for retirement, how much they need, the potential sources of retirement income, the expenses they will incur, the taxation of retirement benefits when they are distributed from retirement plans, pre-59½ and post-70½ distribution penalty taxes and how to avoid them. Additionally, the workshop covers the need for insurance, such as long-term care and Medicare supplement policies during retirement. Finally, the workshop addresses investing issues during retirement Retirement Plan Distribution Planning This workshop is designed for individuals who are retired or are within ten years of retirement. It discusses the rules for distributions from IRAs, Roth IRAs and other retirement plans. The workshop reviews income taxation, penalties and how to avoid them. A comprehensive discussion of IRA rollovers, IRA transfers and Roth IRAconversions, in-service distributions and plan borrowing laws will also be presented. The workshop will cover beneficiary issues as to how to minimize income taxation to heirs and how to set up heirs for their own retirements. Securities offered through Leigh Baldwin & Co.
